Course Content
Scene and hazard management
Patient positioning
CPR and AED
Choking management
Administration of IM adrenaline for the treatment of anaphylaxis
One and two-person manual ventilation using a bag mask and use of a pocket face mask.
Recognise and provide basic life support including:
Prerequisites & requirements
Attendees must be:
- 14 years or older
- certified with a First Aid Level 1 or Level 2 or Refresher or have equivalent skills or experience to this level
- physically capable of kneeling on the floor to do CPR
- able to complete assessments in English
