Johnson and Johnson Inadine Dressings 9.5cm x 9.5cm (Pack 25)

Consists of a low adherent knitted viscose fabric impregnated with a polyethylene glycol (PEG) base containing 10% Povidone Iodine; equivalent to 1.0% available iodine.Iodine is a highly effective topical antimicrobial that has been used clinically in the treatment of wounds for more than 170 years. It has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity with efficacy against bacteria, microbacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses.

The dressing may be changed up to two times daily in the initial phase for highly infected wounds or a wound producing large amounts of exudate ensuring patient comfort.

Moistening the dressing with Saline will assist removal from the wound. The use of Inadine dressing may be continued for as long as signs of infection or particular threat of infection of the wound area are present. If infection recurs the use of Inadine dressing can be resumed and continued at any time.
